Dear Sidley Family,
I am so sad to hear of the very untimely passing of your dear Keith. I grew up on the same street back in Joburg and spent many thousands of hours playing, fighting, getting up to mischief and generally enjoying life with "Sidley". On a serious note, Keith, Patty. Arnold and Molly were the people who introduced me to politics and opened my eyes to what was going on around me, this at the tender age of about 9 or 10. They certainly changed my life very much for the better.
Sadly, our paths diverged in the mid 70"s and I only connected again with Keith this year after so long. We caught up and laughed so hard at all the things we'd done and we made all these plans to go motorcycling as soon as possible. Fate intervened again and our best laid plans were laid low, this time forever.
I will have many, many, fond memories of one of the feistiest, smartest, most irreverent people I've ever met.
Les (aka "Edel")
